Two pounds total of three varieties of mushrooms, consisting of Gray Oysters, King Trumpets, Lion’s Mane, Pioppino and/or Chestnut mushrooms.
When cooked, Pioppino’s have a faint floral aroma, are meaty and crunchy with a nutty, slightly sweet, peppery, and earthy flavor. Stem has similar texture to asparagus. Rich in copper, fiber, and Vitamin B5.
Very rich, earthy flavor, with notes of a peppery finish. Excellent in stir-fry, soups, or on top of steaks. Chestnuts are rich in polysaccharides – which the body uses as a primary source of energy – and have also been shown to have antibacterial and anti-tumor properties .
Taste similar to crab meat, but can be cooked down/flavored to resemble a chicken breast. Lion’s Mane mushrooms have been found to be an antibiotic, anticarcinogenic, antidiabetic, anti-fatigue, antihypertensive, anti-hyperlipodemic, anti-aging, cardioprotective, and neuroprotective, while also improving anxiety, cognitive function, and depression.
