3lb Sterilized Grain Bag

Each of our bags contain 3 pounds of hydrated rye grains. The rye is washed thoroughly then soaked for 16-24 hours before being boiled. It’s then drained and set on racks to air dry. The rye is measured out into 3 pound bags and pressure sterilized before being sealed and shipped to you.
These rye bags are ideal for growing spawn on! Inoculate with 10CC of liquid culture and within two-three weeks they will be fully colonized and ready to mix with bulk substrate.
These are the same bags we use for spawn in our facility, so you can be assured they are cooked/sterilized/sealed to industry standards.
